The feature triggers when you land the Thunderbolt symbol at the same time as the scatter symbol. Once the Thunderbolt symbol is activated, it randomly awards any of the 5 modifications. 

The modifications are:

• Transformation which changes any symbol on reels 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 into a wild symbol.

• Wild symbols turn all paying symbols above into wild symbols.

• Multiplier is awarded to a hydra symbol of values 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x applied to all wins it is part of.

• A new reel is added to the grid.

• The global multiplier increases by 1x but is only available in Free Spins.

Free spins

Landing 3 scatters anywhere on the reels awards 10 Free Spins in the base game. 

When it is triggered, a Global Multiplier with a value of 1x is above the game grid applying to all wins. When a scatter lands, it increases the Global Multiplier by 1 to a maximum of 25x.

If a Thunderbolt symbol lands, it unlocks the Thunderbolt feature which grants 1 to 5 modifications including the Global Multiplier.
