Reasons for Online Casino Blacklist Placement
There are a multitude of issues on the online casino scene that led to the casino's addition to the blacklist. These were mainly passed on to us through our casino disputes archived files.
The first and most frequent complaint that can be the cause of the blacklisted casino is if the players complain to the casinos of using a scam, such as nonpayment and confiscation. Some of those on the blacklisted list may have been discriminated against by casinos with regard to match bonuses or very slow withdrawals, which means they are disqualified from joining this list.
Below are the most common reasons for blacklisting a casino on the Topbookie website:
- No valid licence: If a casino is operating without a proper licence, there is no guarantee of protection for players should a dispute occur with the operator.
- Unethical business practices such as partnerships with affiliates: Unethical practices include, but are not limited to, lack of communication and cooperation, delayed or declined payments and unprofessional behaviour.
How Often We Update our List of Blacklisted Casino Sites?
When you look for a casino on our platform you will always know if a casino is available to play at or not when you click on the casino review. You can even have a look at the reasons why a particular casino is regarded as dishonest and hence blacklisted at Topbookie.
The cooperation between our teams ensures the blacklisted gambling websites’ list is regularly updated whenever there are newly disclosed details about a casino's unfair practices.
What are the Risks of Playing at Blacklisted Casinos?
The Topbookie team has a strong and powerful warning for all its players to avoid playing at blacklisted casinos so they don't have to go through the unpleasant or stressful situations. Blacklisted casinos are the ones that have a long history of unethical or malicious actions which are listed in our notice of blacklisting on the casino review page.
These are some of the risks associated with playing at a blacklisted casino:
- Delayed or denied payments: Threatful casinos often hold back on paying your requested withdrawals or even do not pay for any wins at all.
- Confiscation of winnings: From time to time, a person finds that their winnings just magically disappear from their accounts when they are dealing with a dishonest casino.
- Lack of player protection when playing at an unlicensed casino: The main problem with unlicensed casinos is that there is no regulatory body to oversee their operations and the player has no one to turn to for recourse in case they are taken advantage of by an unlicensed casino.
- Bad customer support service: Customer support operators are trained deliberately to dawdle and procrastinate in the handling of the players' requests, thus frustration and not receiving the wins are often the consequences.
Therefore, we once more advise you on this subject. Do not play at a blacklisted casino, and please, take your time to look up every casino you are interested in, thoroughly before making your final decision.
