GiG confirms strategic acquisition of Casinomeister

GiG, a digital marketing and media leader in online gaming, announced their strategic acquisition of Casinomeister, an online casino advocacy and review platform. Casinomeister has been at the forefront of promoting transparency and fairness in the online casino industry for the last 25 years.

Casinomeister will still operate using its brand name which provides a unique voice. 

The acquisition will bring benefits to both companies. For Google, it will add to its portfolio of authoritative and reputable websites. GiG added AskGamblers in February 2023 and KaFe Rocks at the end of last year.

The acquisition transaction will be in the form of an asset purchase worth €3 million. The closure of the deal is planned for June 2024 and promises to bring immediate positive financial impact to GiG. 

Other Developments from GiG

GiG has not only been acquiring other igaming brands such as AskGamblers, Casinomeister and KaFe Rocks. They have also launched their SweepX platform which offers a solution for social sweepstakes.

A strategic partnership with Primero Games also complemented the launch of SweepX. GiG will assist Primero Games in powering its expansion into the online social sweepstakes casino market. 

Primero Games is a developer of casino software and equipment. It is popular for running over 50,000 sweepstakes machines focused on the US and owns Storm Games, a UK retail operator and studio.
