Play’n Go released a follow-up to the Colt Lightning video slot on May 23 2024. The new slot is Colt Lightning Firestorm which reintroduces the grassy theme with some exciting features.

Game Overview

When you start the gameplay, you will notice 5 reels and 4 rows with 1024 paylines. You get a shot at landing winning combinations on a default RTP of 96.20%. 

Other RTPs are 94.20%, 91.20%, 87.20% and 84.20%. 

Once you place a minimum bet of €0.10 or a maximum bet of €100, you have a chance to land the 50000x maximum win on a high volatility. Your chances of achieving the maximum win are 1 in 1000000000. 

Symbols for winning combinations are low and high-paying. The lows are 10 to A card ranks which reward you with 1.2x to 1.6x for landing 5 matching symbols. Highs are eagles, wolves, snakes, cougars and colts which reward you with 2x to 3x for landing 5 matching symbols. 

Colts are replaced by Fire Colts during the Free Spins round and landing 5 Fire Colts rewards you with 8x. Wilds also land only on the three middle reels. 

Exciting Features

Lightning blaze

When you land a horseshoe on the middle reel, you activate the lightning blaze. It releases 3 to 20 fire frames that randomly appear, changing symbols into an animal symbol. 

Firestorm feature

To activate the Firestorm Feature, you need to land 4 Firestorm Scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4. During this feature, two features are activated which are Fortune Strike and Fire Free Spins. However, in the demo version, only one feature activates.

The reward for the Firestorm Strike is a prize of 5x to 200x while the Fire Free Spins rewards you with 8 Free Spins. The Free Spins are played on an expanded row which increases winning ways to 3125. 

Fire free spins

During this round, there are no colt symbols. They are changed into Fire Colt symbols which pay double. Once the horseshoe symbol lands, the Lightning Blaze feature is unlocked. 

The Lightning Blaze feature releases 1 to 4 Fire Frames which appear randomly and stick for the round. Once the Fire Free Spins round ends, Fire Frames turn into one animal symbol.

When you land a Fire Ball scatter during the round, your reward is an extra Free Spin with a maximum of 46 Free Spins.
