Washington $1.3m Lotto ticket still unclaimed 09 July 2024

Muckleshoot Casino Resort in Auburn, 27 miles south of Seattle, sold a winning ticket worth $1.3 million. The ticket is being sold because the winner has yet to claim it after weeks since it was announced.

The winning ticket numbers are 11-18-26-33-38, and 46.

The ticket, from the Washington Lottery, was sold on June 22 2024. The casino also got a $13000 retailer selling bonus from the sale.

Robert Dearstine, executive director of marketing at Muckleshoot Casino Resort told Washington's Lottery, "When we learned that we had sold the winning ticket and were receiving a bonus, we were absolutely thrilled. We’re already planning on how we’re going to celebrate as a team,"

"We’re even more excited for the lucky player who will be taking home this sizable win. It’s such a special moment that can change someone’s life for the better," he added.

The huge prize money ticket is the third time Muckleshoot Casino Resort has paid out a large lotto prize this month. The previous two second-tier prizes were worth $1000 and were awarded on June 3 and June 7 2024.

How the Lottery Works

The jackpot of the lottery starts at $1 million and grows until someone hits. Each ticket costs 1 for two plays where you pick two sets of six numbers from 1 to 49.

You win by matching all six numbers

To win, you must match all six numbers. The odds of matching all six are 1 in 6990000. The odds for matching five numbers are 1 in 27100 and for four white balls is 1 in 516.

The prizes for matching five white balls is $1000 and $30 for four.

Winners can contact one of the regional offices of the Washington Lottery within 180 days to claim their prize.

Other Incidents of Uncollected Prizes

The Colorado area has had two unclaimed Powerball tickets. The tickets are from either March or April.

The first worth $130000 was purchased in March from Circle K in Highlands Ranch. The winning numbers to check are 12-13-33-50-52 and Powerball 23.

The second worth $50000 was purchased at a 7-Eleven in Aurora. The April ticket numbers are 6, 7, 12, 24, 36 and Powerball 15.

Colorado winners must collect their prize within 180 days from when the winning numbers are drawn. The rule applies to all lottery games including Mega Millions and Powerball.

If the winner does not claim the prize within the prescribed time, it is sent to a beneficiary fund. The fund includes Great Outdoors Colorado, the Conservation Trust fund, and Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
