As the world of football coming to grips with the news of the European Super League, an all-important game between Leeds and Liverpool is set to take place tonight at Elland Road. Both clubs have everything to play for, and football fans will surely be in for a spectacle.

The Yorkshire side go into the game on the back of three wins in a row, with the last one being an emphatic away win against champions-elect, Manchester City, so mentally and morale-wise they should be on a high. They currently sit 10th in the EPL, and have the chance to leapfrog Arsenal, and move into 9th with 6 games to play. The Leeds side are looking to finish strongly in their first season back into the top-flight, after almost 20 years out, and Marcelo Bielsa will look to finish strongly ahead of what might be a weird summer for football.

Champions Liverpool go into the game with three wins in a row, in what many perceive to be a late resurgence, in what has been an incredibly difficult season for the Reds. Manager Jurgen Klopp will rally his troops and look for a fourth win in a row, as he looks for a last-gasp attempt at reaching places that lead into Europe for next season, even though the European Super League is looming large on the horizon.

The treatment and suspensions table at both clubs looks very different. Only Cooper will surely miss the game for Leeds, due to a suspension, while Raphinha and Rodrigo are doubts, pending a medical before kick-off. Liverpool have a long list of absentees which include Van Dijk, Gomez, Henderson, Matip, Origi, and backup goalkeeper Kelleher.
