Barcelona vs Granada Match Preview 29 April 2021

The clash many have been waiting for, to see if Granada have it in them to try and get into the spots that lead into Europe, or if Barca can break into first place and potentially snatch the title from Atletico and Real in the closing weeks of the season.

Barcelona are in very good shape coming into the match, having lost just one of their last 10 games in all competitions, drawing one, and winning the other 8. Coach Koeman will look for his troops to make a big step towards causing an upset and breaking into first position. Given they have no other competitions to look forward to, they know they have to be at their best to get something from this game, so this game is a make or break for them.

Granada on the other hand are hit and miss in all competitions. Sometimes resilient and efficient, at other times wasteful and leaky. Their recent form shows this, as they have managed to win four and lose six in their last ten games. Manager Diego Martinez will hope his team can pull off a surprise and make a big leap towards ensuring European football for next season.

Injuries are somewhat of an issue for both clubs, as they both have some players missing the game through some. Barcelona will be without Braithwaite, Coutinho, and Fati, while Granada have a lengthy list of player missing out, namely - Duarte, Lozano, Milla, Neva, Silva, and Vallejo.
